Today I’m taking you along for a surprise visit to my friend Sue’s gorgeous cottage garden! She’s packed in an incredible mix of flowers, vegetables, and herbs — proof that you don’t need a huge space to grow something truly special. She has grown an incredible amount of flowers from seed.

Sue built her own garden trellises, uses free wood-chip mulch for her paths, and grows an amazing mix of perennials, annuals, and biennials with her vegetables and herbs. If you love cottage gardens, edible landscaping, or just want inspiration for small-space gardening, this one’s for you.
