SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) – LOGAN is hosting its 21st annual Sonya Ansari Center for Autism Garden Party on Friday at Le Mans Green at Saint Mary’s College in South Bend.

The event is a fundraiser supporting the Sonya Ansari Center for Autism. The center is named for the daughter of Dr. Rafat Ansari and Dr. Zoreen Ansari.

Dr. Rafat Ansari, founder of the Sonya Ansari Center for Autism, spoke with WNDU’s Joshua Short — who is emceeing the event — about the background of the garden party and the importance of bringing the community together to support autism services.
