GREEN RIVER — The public is invited to the 2026 Green River Pond & Garden Tour on Saturday, July 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The free community event invites residents and visitors to explore garden homes in Green River and Rock Springs, featuring ponds, special garden stops, and local artists. Master gardeners will be at the Howes garden home, sharing expert tips for high desert gardening.
An artist will choose a garden and spend 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. painting. They will return to the Western Wyoming College campus in Green River for judging.
Guides will be available at Riverside Nursery, the Green River Chamber of Commerce, the Green River Star, and on Facebook. Raffle items will also be available at garden homes, with proceeds supporting Nelise Montgomery during travel for leukemia treatment.
The event is open to all. Attendees are encouraged to bring questions, meet homeowners, and enjoy a day celebrating local gardens, creativity, and community support.
