  1. Hello and welcome back! ๐Ÿค
Come and spend a sister weekend with us and Jane's dog called Roo! We head to some charity shops and plenty of garden centres, it was just what I needed! This is Part 1 of a two part episode.

Instagram is the best place to find out a bit more of behind the scenes, daily chit chat and to know when the next episode is due.

    Lots of love, Cher x

  2. Good Morning โ˜•โ˜• So beautiful ๐Ÿ’ž watching from Youngstown, Ohio USA ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ thanks you so for sharing with all of us ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ’žโœจ๐Ÿ’
(them flowers you guys are calling weeds I'm pretty sure they look like might be Dead Nettle and you can use that for all kinds of stuff you and your sister she looked them up but I'm really not for sure)

  3. 10:30 Roo ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ’™
I like Monty Don. ๐ŸŒฟ BBC channels have been on cable, satellite, and some shows are on PBS since the 1980s so a lot of Americans grew up watching them.
The series are popular. My husband and I loved Keeping up Appearances ๐Ÿ˜Š

  4. Hey Cher, hope you are well ๐Ÿฅฐ It seems weโ€™re neighbours with your sister. I think youโ€™d love our new garden. The people that used to live here put in all sorts. Rhubarb, apple tree, strawberry plants, weโ€™ve got some potatoes growing, thyme, weโ€™ve had peonies recently and lovely tulips have come and gone. Itโ€™s nice to see what appears next.

  6. Hi Cher! I'm watching from Illinois, USA, currently in the middle of a thunderstorm. We've had lots of rain and storms this spring, which is unusual for our location. I was born in Wallsend in the NE of England but I emigrated here with my parents and brothers a LONG time ago. I love anything English cottage. I garden with my husband on our one acre garden and we try to make it as English cottage garden as we can. We love to watch Gardeners World on our BritBox subscription, but old shows are also on YouTube. Inside my home I have English china teapots and cups, Royal Doulton Toby Jugs and Lilliput Lane cottages. Love your channel โค๏ธ ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง x

  7. Jane has a beautiful garden, loved Roo as I have rescued Chi,s for years, sadly just three now and one 15 two 15 in august, they live with my four rescue Pugs,so pleased you are an enthusiastic gardener as thatโ€™s my second passion after rescue dogs, looking forward to seeing all your planting in the cottage garden,I hope you get into container growing veg and salads in future years, nothing quite like stepping out for your own produce.

  8. Helebor's (Christmas Roses) are toxic to pets and can cause skin irritation to humans, Always wash hands after touching the plants.

  9. Hi Cher I'm watching from north east england….near Durham. Got a cup of tea and biscuits ๐Ÿ˜Š I love the blouses you wear, lovely x

  10. Hello Cher, yes, I am drinking coffee too, whilst watching you and contemplating weeding. Love watching your channel, having moved house at the same time as you. Also share your love of thrifting and often see items and say to myself "Cher would love that" ๐Ÿ˜‚ I live very close to the sea in West Wales, so anything I plant in the garden needs to be very wind resistant but we seldom have frosts. Your sister weekend sounds idyllic ๐Ÿ’• Take care xxxx

  11. Hi Cher ๐Ÿ‘‹ from Houston TX watching during my lunch break n it's cloudy rainy days here lately ๐Ÿ˜•

  12. I'm enjoying todays video in pretty nice weather, from Norway. It's a joy to follow you, it really gives me a good feeling. You're made for being in front of the camera. Thank you for spreading good vibrations!

  13. Lovely blog Cher, love being with my Sister too and even more so now we lost our Mum Dec 24. We just chat about her and talk about our old times. Also absolutely adore your sister's doggie. He is so cute. X ps I'm not far away. I live in Cambridgeshire so love seeing places I know when you visit them.

  14. My sister in law lives not far from Saffron Walden and Iโ€™ve been there with her many times. I live in a small village in Derbyshire in a terraced cottage that was originally built for railway workers just outside Chesterfield. That small blue flower looks like borage. Heather

  15. I've recently been watching Monty Donn series where he helps gardeners with small gardens. They do design which he tweakes and he will actually help with some part. My roses are looking lovely with my lilac. My sister and I also get together every Friday and have dinner together. Sometimes we go to garden centers, for a walk, pick up a few groceries or shop. My patios plants are looking lovely all the flowers are looking good. Been windy here in Victoria BC lately.

  16. I love the idea of sister weekends, they sound wonderful. Im watching from Aberdeenshire. Im 5 minutes from the coast, so plants have to be very wind tolerant. I love Gardeners World too. In fact i love every garden programme on tv ๐Ÿ˜Š Hoping all your new acquisitions do really well. ๐ŸŽ‰

  17. Iโ€™m in Phoenix, Arizona USA and I am doing crafting as I am a mixed media artist who makes journals and greeting cards. I watched you since before you moved into the cottage and enjoy you very much.

  18. Watching whilst resting on my bed. Sunny, a bit chilly with sunshine showers. Itโ€™s Thursday and on Saturday itโ€™s my 58th eek birthday ๐Ÿ™ƒ.

  19. Such a wonderful vlog Darling ๐Ÿฉท. Loved every bit! Sending blooms and rainbows from The Pixie Tales ๐Ÿงš๐Ÿป

  20. Hello Cher ๐Ÿ’• Im watching from Norway, having a tea break while trying to make lift curtains today. Thank you for bringing us along on a sister Friday club ๐Ÿ’•What a wonderful time the two of you have ๐Ÿ’• I think your trips to the garden center and the old English town with independent stores and older houses and such are such a joy! And Janes garden! ๐ŸŒบ what a treat ๐ŸŒนAnd little Roo ๐Ÿ’“ sweet little peanut ๐Ÿ’ž I love that even though we are far apart we have the same flowers in our gardens! And the same type of connection to our ancestor through flowers ๐ŸŒผ

  21. I was up at 5.15 am to take my Madge out for her walk, with the little mouse that had gone into my live mouse trap in the sitting room! It was so pretty and small, and I let him/her off in the woods just away from where I live. I had let another one off yesterday morning in the same place, so maybe they will find each other again?! We saw two rabbits, and came back to our home, where I fed Madge her breakfast and her 1/2 a dental chew that she gets every morning, I make my mug of tea, and we both go back to bed for a bit, which is when I look at any emails that may have come through, and watch you and my other You Tube videos!๐ŸฅฐI am in bed watching your video. Blessings to you from West Devon, England, and Jilly & Madge. xxx

  22. Hi Cher. Watching from the Isle of Wight. Having a lunch break from gardening on my day off. Have the Isle of Wight festival this weekend! Thanks for another lovely vlog. X

  23. from Seattle Washington….a quiet garden, coffee and dog closeby…your video brings joy of simple pleasures sisters, wandering towns, gardens….helping the current dark climate here in the US…..thank you

  24. Here in Toronto, we also call Grannyโ€™s Bonnet โ€œColumbineโ€. So many beautiful varieties and will take sun or shade. You girls are like kids in a Candy Shoppe. Love it!

  25. Iโ€™m currently baking bread and scones while watching. Itโ€™s a beautiful sunny day with a cool breeze here today,so the windows are wide open. Your flower selections are beautiful. A neighbor gave me an almost black double flowered columbine called Black Barlow – I think Jane would love it.

  26. Another great video, Cher! Thank you for sharing your Friday with your sister. I'm watching the video while enjoying my breakfast in bed, feeling so comfortable and cozy.
Jane has such a beautiful garden, and Roo looks so adorable lying in the basket, looking all cozy and content.
Wishing you both a blessed weekend filled with joy, peace, and many special moments together. ๐Ÿก๐Ÿ’›

  27. Loving your sister time and her sweet little dog. Alchemilla Mollis is a lovely cottage garden plant, good for snipping for little posies X

  28. Iโ€™m watching from Erie, Pennsylvania, USA. The weather has been pleasant here but today it is dreary and raining so instead of gardening, Iโ€™m having a cup of tea and catching up on some YouTube channels I follow.

  29. Sunday evening in the Pacific NW of Oregon baking a mushroom, onion bacon quiche, and doing a bit of catch up with your videos. Love your Friday Sister Day adventure. I am retired and most if my friends no longer enjoy going thriving because we all have so much, but I enjoy living vicariously through you. I am meeting up for a lovely much in a couple of weeks with two friends I used to work with that I have not seen for months. I think I am busier in retirement these past 7 years than I was when working!

Your videos are so interesting and fun to watch. I have been off my regular schedule a bit due to traveling and other commitments so looking forward to getting back into my routine, and you are definitely a part of that routine. I can catch videos in USA on YouTube with Monty Don. Enjoy your week.๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’™
