Donna Kelce describes son Travis Kelce’s wedding to Taylor Swift in one word.

The mother-of-two otherwise stayed tight-lipped about the couple’s big day.

Donna was among the 1,000 guests who gathered in Madison Square Garden to see the couple say “I do.”

Donna Kelce is keeping her reaction to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding short and sweet.

At this point, the mother of the NFL star knows better than to divulge any details about his romance with the pop superstar — including any specifics about their extravagant July 3 wedding ceremony at Madison Square Garden. Donna was among the reported 1,000 guests who packed inside the iconic arena to watch the couple say “I do” in a ceremony that’s been described as “intimate.”

One day later, Donna was still in NYC and attended Macy’s 50th Fourth of July Celebration, where she was directly asked about the couple’s nuptials.

“I really can’t say a heck of a lot except it was magical, man, magical,” the mother-of-two replied, per the Instagram interview.

Though she didn’t provide any additional details about the wedding, Donna did have some Fourth of July memories to share. “I remember I used to take the boys [Travis and his brother, Jason Kelce] down to Lake Erie, and we would watch the fireworks in Euclid, Ohio, and we had the best time,” she said.

As for the big day, many who attended the wedding ceremony have been careful not to spill too many details about Swift and Kelce’s nuptials. Their marriage itself was confirmed on Friday evening, when signs outside the stadium declared, “JusT&T Married!”

Of course, not everyone has been able to keep their lips sealed. On Friday evening, AMC Theatres CEO Adam Aron posted — and later deleted — a very detailed recap of the wedding festivities, assuring everyone that the venue “did not look like Madison Square Garden,” recounting the decorations that included “large blown up pictures of Taylor and Travis at each age,” and detailing the “sweep you off your feet kiss” that the couple shared after exchanging vows.

Additional details came via a statement from Swift’s PR team, who announced that the bride and groom wore Dior, their siblings acted as the only members of the bridal party, and actor and comedian Adam Sandler officiated the wedding. Attendees have since confirmed that Stevie Nicks and Paul McCartney were among those who took the stage at the reception.

Per additional reports, Kelce and Swift celebrated their big day with their families and many of their famous friends, including Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham, Jennifer Lopez, Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, Tom Hanks, Hugh Grant, Bradley Cooper, Dakota Johnson, Ellie Goulding, Benson Boone, Jenny Han, Nikki Glaser, and many more.

Donna has been along for the ride since the very start of Swift and Kelce’s whirlwind romance, which began when the Kansas City Chiefs tight end revealed on his New Heights podcast in July 2023 that he had tried — and failed — to connect with Swift at one of her Eras Tour concerts. Word eventually reached her and the duo sparked a romance that soon saw her become a staple at Arrowhead Stadium, cheering him on from the stands. Swift often brought her own entourage or appeared alongside Kelce’s own loved ones, including Donna.

By October of that year, Donna was unpacking the fan fervor surrounding their romance on Today.

“It’s really morphed into something I could’ve never expected,” she told hosts Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie at the time. “It’s really strange. But it’s fun— it’s a great ride. At times, it gets a little annoying, but most of the time, people are just so sweet, so kind, so generous. What mother doesn’t want to hear that their kids are great?”

Even then, Donna was careful to keep the details of their relationship to herself and when pressed for her opinions on their romance, told the hosts, “It’s his personal life. I’ll talk about my life and when the kids were little and I was with them, but they’re men now, they’ve got their own lives, and there isn’t a man alive that’s going to talk to their mom about their personal life.”
