Looks like Genovese Basil, an herb. Maybe some seeds were dropped there last year.

the stem on that looks way too thick for spinach or basil, does the main stalk have any purple or reddish coloring to it?

Do you see any small white oxalate crystals on the underside of the leaves?

I’d guess a bell pepper? Maybe you planted it, maybe it was in your compost?

Strongly disagree with the people saying basil, although one sniff will tell you one way or the other. This looks like amaranth or some relative, possibly from a bird seed mix. I have bird feeders and have these pop up pretty regularly all over my yard. The birds will eat directly off the seed head if you let it mature.
