Hey folks,

Need some help diagnosing my heterophylla. Last week I repotted it from Pon to leca so I attributed the droopiness to shock. But this afternoon, all the leaves are curling inwards which makes me think it’s a watering issue? The leca is currently in a submerged setup (1 inch).

How can I save her!!!

Definitely probably the repot. Sometimes alocasia get dramatic when you change their environment or their growing medium and losing leaves is normal during the process. If you haven’t, check out sydneyplantguy on YouTube. He’s got some good insight if growing mediums and their challenges on his page!!

How far does it roots reach? I guess you should you should keep the reservoir fuller at first. When the roots start to grow and reach further, you can lower the water level.

Leaf curling is generally a sign of root issues. Can you see if it’s still healthy? If healthy then it’s prob adjusting to repot but interesting it needs to adjust since it’s going from semi hydro to semi hydro
