There’s no denying that B&M has become a go-to for its garden range. Every year, the high street retailer’s outdoors edit tends to sell out almost as soon as it goes available.
Not to mention that many items tend to mimic higher end brands, such as Dunelm, but at affordable prices. One that was hugely popular earlier this year was the Hampshire Bistro Set – and it’s officially on sale.
With another heatwave causing the mercury levels to rise, the discounter has launched a huge summer sale, slashing select garden furniture by up to 30 percent. This means that this “luxury” set, which has an RRP of £125, is now just £85.

With it’s current 30 percent discount, B&M’s £85 Hampshire Bistro Set is much cheaper than similar alternatives that we have spotted at other major retailers on the high street, making it one of the best deals to nab while the heatwave is still here.
Its rustic-chic design looked almost alike Dunelm’s Pacific Lifestyle Bazel Outdoor Bistro Set. While the homeware chain’s set doesn’t look to be available anymore, it was previously priced at £799, making it £674 more expensive than B&M.
However, this was on the pricier end of the scale for the homeware chain where we have also spotted more affordable bistro sets. This includes the £130 Rattan Rope Bistro Set that B&M still beats at being £45 cheaper.
Other three-piece bistro sets on the high street include a Costway Bistro Set from The Range for £89.95 and the Global 2 Seater Garden Bistro from Habitat for £140, all of which are a touch pricier than B&M’s current summer sale price.
Bistro sets are the ultimate space-saving solution for gardens of all sizes. Offering a compact design, they provide an intimate seating area for those who want to enjoy either a drink or some food with a loved one or by themselves.
For households looking for a larger design, then it’s worth noting that the B&M sale does offer alternatives. This includes the four-piece Bali Dining Sofa Set that is now on offer for £150, down from £200, which is a 25 percent saving off the RRP.
This black-rattan effect set features a chic double woven construction that makes it that bit more durable. Complete with a sofa, table, two chairs and padded cushions, it is one to choose when hosting friends or family this summer.
Another option bargain hunters will find is the Valencia Reversible Rattan Effect Corner Sofa Set, reduced from £250 to £175. Also boasting that rattan-effect, the ‘L-shaped’ design of the sofa, which comes with comfy cushions, provides an ideal spot when socialising with larger groups of friends.
