Gardeners were able to fire their questions at experts when a British radio institution was recorded in Spalding.
Springfields Horticultural Society hosted BBC Radio 4’s Gardener’s Question Time at the events and conference centre yesterday (Tuesday, June 30).
The show is one of the longest continuous running radio shows, which started in 1947, and has become a favourite among generations of gardeners.

Broadcaster Peter Gibbs hosted the show and entertained the audience.
The panel was made-up of Christine Walkden, Bunny Guinness and Rutland’s Matthew Wilson, who demonstrated an amazing amount of knowledge in answering the audience’s questions without prior knowledge of what was going to be posed.
The show is due to be broadcast on July 10.
Another popular radio show, Any Questions, was recently broadcast from St Norbert’s Community Hall of St Norbert’s Catholic Church.
