I blew my husband’s mind by throwing old potatoes, from this past spring, into a bin full of kitchen and garden scraps. I put some straw on top and I just harvested about 10lbs of potatoes 🥔 😊

i haven't tried in pots but, when i thin my carrots i replant the ones i pull out(though i always heard you couldn't transplant carrots) i guess no one told the carrots!
I have never been able to grow carrots. I tried everyone's tips, cardboard or a board to cover the seeds and hold moisture, but I finally got germination and saw growth, but they died! I will try your method and see what happens. I know that carrots can't read to know they won't transplant! They say the same thing about squash, too!

I was working with my soil today in at least 6 totes and many dishpans, then feeding the nursery plants patiently waiting for their new permanent homes. At least some are withstanding the critter attacks, drying heat and wind, etc., while waiting for their homes to be built. 😂

Stunning info but could you add next time how long you keept it in the small pot before you transferred to a bigger pot and how long it was in the big pot.As well as the temperature of the weather is that it grew in. The reason why l ask because it helps to plan when to sew these seeds because our weather is all over the place. So that will help as well. Love your work ❤
