The Milwaukee Brewers have introduced a new plaza at American Family Field, offering free activities and family-friendly entertainment to enhance fans’ game day experience.

The UW Credit Union Plaza includes a mini golf course and a playground for kids, both of which are free to access. Fans can also enjoy a beer garden, where food and drinks are available for purchase, with plenty of seating to relax and connect.

“It’s awesome, definitely geared towards kids and families, which is great for Brewers games,” one fan said.

Marti Wronski, Chief Operating Officer of the Milwaukee Brewers, told 12 News that developing the plaza to create a lively atmosphere for fans was a process taking more than a year.

“I think folks will see when they come out there’s a whole new vibe on the plaza,” Wronski said. “Part of this project was making sure we were connecting the energy in the lots and the tailgate experience to the energy inside the ballpark. Whether you want to come and play, meet up with your buddies, and have that real sense of community in the beer garden, or you want to mini golf, any of those things, it’s just something for everyone,” she said.

Brewers staff also noted that live music will be part of the plaza experience. Access to the new plaza is free, and all activities are family-friendly. It is open to fans for the first time at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
