On Thursday in the Gladstone area, the Michigan State Police Manistique Outpost executed a search warrant on the car of Bruce Rochefort, a convicted felon suspected of having firearms, according to a Friday evening MSP press release.

During the search of his vehicle, troopers found a black pneumatic gun, a double-edged sword measuring more than 18 inches in length, hydrocodone pills and ammunition in four different calibers.

At the same time, a search warrant was executed at Rochefort’s home. There, troopers found 39 firearms, including rifles, shotguns, and handguns, along with a large quantity of assorted ammunition, drug paraphernalia and a small amount of methamphetamine.
