On your recommendation, I bought 4 bags of Happy Frog soil and am so glad I’ve finished them up. It had so many big chunks of wood in it, I had to sift it with my large screen sifter every time I needed some. I dumped the chunks in my compost bin, and will not be buying it again; especially since it’s so expensive. I felt totally ripped off.
I am curious, is fox farm still good quality in 2026? It's my first year of gardening. But the Miracle Grow I got back in 2025 is so far superior to the trash MG they are selling now. I don't want 50%+ woodchips in my potting mix.

Never grown potatoes. This method doesn’t require too much space and I’m growing another crop while I wait for potatoes. Thanks Jacques
