In case you haven’t heard, garden arbors are making a comeback, and Amazon Prime Day is your chance to test the trend once and for all. At the moment, you can score as much as 35% off some eye-catching designs.

You might associate garden arbors with the Victorian period (the stunning gardens in Downton Abbey immediately come to mind), but design pros say more and more homeowners are appreciating their visual appeal these days. It makes sense, as they’re such an easy way to add charm to a garden.

Typically situated near a garden’s entrance, the beautiful structures act as a foundation for climbing or vining plants. Just imagine the beauty of a garden arbor adorned with wisteria, clematis, or honeysuckle. They also make great backdrops for al fresco celebrations like weddings, baby showers, or even tea parties. Who doesn’t love a good photo op, right?

Amazon is fully stocked with all kinds of garden arbors right now. Browse metal arches decked out with raised garden beds, understated wooden looks for small spaces, and designs in colors like white and blue if you really want to make a statement.

But there’s one tip you should keep in mind before clicking “add to cart,” according to Ryan McDaniel, a Southern California-based architect and the partner and director of design at Brandon Architects: The exterior of your home must match your garden arbor. “The design should be reflective of the garden ecology and complement the architecture of the home,” he says.
