Founded in Midland in 2009, HTeaO has grown from a single tea shop into the nation’s leading iced tea franchise, with locations in multiple states.
“We’re honored to open another HTeaO location in the city where the brand first got its start,” Judd Porter said.
“Midland has played an important role in HTeaO’s journey from day one, and it’s exciting to continue building on that legacy. We look forward to serving guests with the quality, variety and hospitality that have made HTeaO such a beloved part of West Texas.”
The new Garden City Highway location represents the brand’s continued investment in the city where it began and brings another convenient destination for handcrafted tea, coffee and water to Midland residents.

The new store is along one of the city’s busiest corridors and is designed to serve guests throughout the day, whether they are heading to work, running errands or gathering with friends and family.
“HTeaO has become a true Texas success story, and we’re proud to be part of a brand that was built right here in the Lone Star State,” Trae Porter said.
“There’s a strong sense of Texas pride in Midland, and that’s something that aligns naturally with who we are as a company. We’re grateful for the opportunity to continue serving this community and look forward to becoming part of our guests’ daily routines for years to come.”
The grand opening celebration will feature free cups of tea from 10 a.m. to noon, limited-edition HTeaO T-shirts for the first 250 customers and more.

“Every new store opening is exciting, but Midland carries special meaning for HTeaO because it’s where our story began,” Shane Clark, chief development officer for HTeaO, said.
“While we’ve grown into a national brand, our roots remain firmly planted in West Texas. Opening another location in Midland is a reminder of how far we’ve come and a reflection of our ongoing commitment to the community that helped launch HTeaO more than 15 years ago.”
The celebration will continue throughout the weekend with happy hour pricing, featuring buy-one-get-one-free cups of tea available all day Saturday and Sunday. Guests can also enjoy half-priced gallons of tea from Saturday, June 27, through Saturday, July 4.
HTeaO will also offer buy-one-get-one-free deals on all Brewhouse coffee from Sunday, June 28, through July 4.
