Bosch cordless grass trimmer UniversalGrassCut 18V-26-500
Our editor actually tested the EasyGrassCut 18V-26 as part of our best strimmers tried and tested, and declared it as ‘you’ll be surprised by this little trimmer’s capacity for tearing through not just grass (and knee-high grass at that), but quite substantial weeds, too. It tackled a nettle patch and cut through their stems easily.’ It’s excellent value for money for a gutsy, well-designed piece of kit. You’ll fly around your garden and have everything trimmed in no time.
Einhell cordless brush cutter 36V
This Einhell model is rather brilliant at tackling overgrown areas of your garden. It has a powerful brushless motor that has a longer running time than typical carbon brush motors, so if it’s endurance that you’re after, this is the model to buy, and now with over 30% off.
WORX WG163E 18V (20V MAX) cordless grass trimmer

On test, this trimmer performed strongly, and it’s ideal if you need to trim around the edges of walls or raised beds after mowing, or to cut back short meadow grass. The head pivots 90° so you can quickly switch from strimming to edging paths and borders.
