Authorities recovered a stolen memorial monument that was stolen from the Vietnamese Heritage Garden in San Jose Sunday afternoon.
Police said some suspects stole the memorial monument from the garden located in Kelley Park on Roberts Avenue.
With the help of a neighborhood patrol unit, officers later found the statue leaning against a rocky area.
Investigators were trying to figure out how the thieves stole the statue and why.
