Spacing is important in flower bed gardening and design. This video explains why

My flowers refuse to get organized 😂
The organized example are also fully grown flowers (obviously at first when you plant young flowers it will look spaced ..)
I just lllooove a reeeally dense flower crowd than a sparce one!
To me any flower bed where the ground is showing is a bad looking flower bed lol! Is that wrong?
I love bad spacing
Would love to hear your spacing recommendations- personally, I love an over crowded bed but I saw your point with the visuals provided. No one can totally predict how a plant will grow and they don’t stay the same so how do you suggest I achieve the ideal spacing?
To you!
Beautiful and not crowded at all. The spaced out ones look awful
Keep watching these guilt tripping garden videos and you end up spending all your living energy trying to please a YouTube critic. Even the ideal beds overgrow their “spacing” 😅
So true
I like the so called messy look
intentional space designed by AI looks so strip mall. I prefer intentional that looks more spontaneous. There's a middle path between rigid and chaotic. its called English Garden.
I suppose there's a spectrum . Some touching for me looks quite natural, but not too keen on plants growing in each others spaces, as it can make dealing with seperate needs difficult.
Whole teams of the best gardeners and designers in the world descend on the Chelsea flower show each year to arrange things just so to get that crowded look.
It’s all a matter of taste but plenty of us adore that intertwined and messy cottage aesthetic.
This video is just stupid. Only one person knows when it is perfect. The one who owns it is the one that knows when it is just right. Whats just right for one person ,may indeed look awful to another. My garden has gone every different way one can imagin over the last fifty years.
Uwielbiam nieład artystyczny w ogrodzie❤
not everyone likes the manmade looking design
It looks great, Naturalistic design.
Newly planted beds always tend to look sparse because it takes a few years for plants to get full, especially for perennials. Just because flowers are sparse doesn’t mean they won’t look great or they weren’t intentional.
You’d hate my cottage garden.
Also, the rest for the eye has NOTHING to do with spacing. It’s about a matrix planting with grass as a filler to give rest between plants.
visuals looked more about grouping and massing, not spacing
To each there own.
Shum bukur lulet
Shum i DUA lulet
Kam shum lule Po kam nje pytje ketu ku jemi ne ka shum barishte
Si ty eliminojm ju lutem me tregoni si te keni mundesi
No room for weeds is my favorite look.
