SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – The South Charleston Farmer’s Market hosted the 2026 West Virginia Music Hall of Fame Garden Party with live music from Mike Morningstar, John Ellison, William Matheny and Matt Mullins.

Guests brought lawn chairs to enjoy the performances. The event also featured food trucks, drinks and inflatables.

Local vendors participated in the event.

“It’s really nice. It’s actually kind of emotional sometimes. I mean to hear some of these old songs, these old performers, you know it means a lot not just to the city but to the state. You know it’s just, like I said, it’s an exciting thing to be a part of,” said William Foley, owner of Steel Blooming.

The 2027 West Virginia Music Hall of Fame inductees were announced at the event. The inductees include the Bing Brothers, Ollie Watts Davis, Gerald Milnes and Mike Morningstar.

The induction ceremony will be held in the spring of 2027 at the Culture Center Theater in Charleston.
