NEW YORK, NY (WFSB) – A Niantic man fell to his death from an upper deck of Madison Square Garden during a concert on Saturday night, according to New York City Police.
The man was identified as Paul Kueker, 51, of Niantic.
Police said Kueker was found unconscious and unresponsive with injuries indicating a fall from high up.
Officials did not say how far the man fell, but said he was in Section 300.
Kueker was with his wife, according to police. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The rock band “Goose” from Wilton, CT was playing.
In a statement on Facebook, they said they were “deeply saddened and heartbroken to learn of the tragic event that occurred.”
