Tim, if it's any help, True Blue Travellers have just bought an industrial mower for their tractor. You have mentioned them before with regards to the barn/new Shmuseum.
You need a covered (possibly enclosed) walkway between the house and the Cart Lodge.
give Martin some good lights in the workshop… please.. I'm a carpenter and light is important for a good result and safety
You just need some goats to take care of that field.
This is fast becoming some kind of wierd supercar version of Peter Pan, or Danger Mouse, the Disney version,.. whatever it is, Martin is the hero, and we need David Jason to do the narration. We the viewers feel the obvious tension in the gang,. My advice as a divorce lawyer is as follows: Send Puppi to a fancy spa retreat regularly… Stop hanging around bothering Martin over his shoulder like captain Hook's parrot. Make more tea for the boys.. and hug it out fellas.

Just back from a road trip myself this morning started Tues morning Dublin to Holyhead channel tunnel to France onto Amsterdam Wednesday staying in Amsterdam Thursday morning very early start 6am Amsterdam to channel tunnel then London yesterday was OMG mental the rain and traffic but eventually got to Holyhead for our boat home at 9-30pm arriving home 2am
Those lights still give me nightmares. We had the same ones in a bespoke wardrobe from IKEA. Lights where a right pain. Never again!

Attention to detail on these wardrobe lights is amazing but at the same time totally over the top unless you only get dressed in the dark. The labour costs must be eye watering.

Tim…you need some help and I think you should call in Harry and JC for some proper farming advice! That weed tool is hopeless for a job like that…they will grow faster than you can ever pull them up! Careful use of certified weed control is what you need or you could buy a large van full of weed control fabric and cover it up for the winter but it can blow away if not well secured with plastic pegs. So for your problems…Harry and Stanley need a day or two on YOUR farm!!

To keep the grass short you could get something that would look cute and fun and keep it well cropped. Maybe a few highland cows and or calves.

A faster and environmentally friendly solution is 20% Horticultural Acetic Acid Vinegar for weed and moss killing – More effective than the 5% stuff for established weeds. Just don't get it on anything you want to keep. Get a large bottle sprayer with a pump.
Tractor with a front loading shovel to scrape the top of around where you guys were
Weeding remove top 2inches put on a trailer or skip hire then spray the cleaned surface to remove any bits of root etc ,then cover with a roll of weed stopping membrane and cover it with 10mm or 15mm or 20mm clean stone it's your choice .
You will be left with a nice level clean area which looks smart and doesn't cost a fortune, also try and find a local quarry if possible to buy stone from it as it could be cheaper plus they might have some quarry boulders for sale that you could place as nice feature stones to set the area off ,just a idea ,I used to drive a eight wheeler tipper for a local quarry in NI and we did that type of supply a load of about 18 ton of clean grey stone covers a good area, I hope that gives you some ideas .
Question? With the amount of work modifying and purchasing individual pieces from Ikea, wouldn't it have been faster and less complicated to just have custom wardrobe fitted to the closet? Cost could be equivalent, or possibly more expensive, but much less of a headache. Just a thought.
