Think you missed your chance to plant a garden this year? Think again!
One of the biggest gardening myths is that if you didn’t get everything planted in April or May, you’re out of time. The truth is there are still plenty of vegetables, herbs, and flowers you can plant in June and harvest this season.

Whether you’re just getting started, filling empty garden beds, or planting a second round of crops, there’s still plenty of time to grow food this year.
πΏ In This Video:
β Fast-growing crops you can plant in June
β Heat-loving vegetables that thrive in summer
β Succession planting ideas for continuous harvests

π± Did you already finish planting your garden, or are you just getting started? π Tell me what you're planting this month and what growing zone you're in. I'd love to hear what's growing in your garden! πΏ
π ππ I HAVE TO SAY THISπππ : i rarely comment on posts! I cannot tell you how happy I am that you came up in my feed. I am a little accomplished farmer at heart, but realistically I'm just in love with gardening….As a very beginner beginner! Lol.. I aspire to be accomplished in mg tiny little yard! One thing that is completely is exhausting Is seeing all the posts about rushing to get your seeds in where your transplants in and it's almost like if you don't get it in by the general date that everyone else is , you might as well just stick with the grocery store produce…. That adds an incredible amount of stress and anxiety and contend to make you want to give up until next year. When you came up in my feed, I loved your education behind it. I love that you are motivated, You seem to really love having hands in a dirt and producing food. I love the way you address your audience as friends. I love the way you inspire your audience that we are not lost. There is still time we can still benefit from a harvest, even small that we can do it! We can do it! we can do it! I was so motivated by your video I am going to go out and continue to get vegetables in containers as we have a crazy possum and squirrel circus going on at times and it makes me a bit anxious to put anything in the ground, But I am doing mostly pots and trying to put deterrence around it so that my vegetables and basil will have a great chance! THANK U for Exactly who you are….YOU. YOU REALLY GAVE GARDENING BROWN GIRL MAGIC TOUCH MY SOUL. …I REALLY APPRECIATED THIS TODAY….I'VE BEEN WATCHING IT ON REPEAT! πππππ

Hi! Mt Juliet, TN here!
Days to maturity are calculated from when the seed has sprouted so you need to add the days for the seed to sprout. That can be 3 to 21 days depending on crop.
Nice content, just subscribed. I am in South Carolina, zone 8a. This year is my third year gardening so I am experimenting with new Zealand spinach, trombancino zucchini, moringa, comfrey, stinging nettle, sugar cube canteloupe, Kajari melon, plantain and dead nettle (threw in some medicinal plants). Also have tons of companion plants…basil, oregano, lemon thyme, borage, onions and garlic. I love talking gardening with anyone who will listen lol. Off to get some sweet potato slips if I can still find them. Mine did not grow in time.
Fortmill, South Carolina
I was watching your freeze drying play list during my Saturday cleanup reset and I am so excited for the produce to start coming out of the garden so we can get some more in the kitchen videos
Love the encouragement, . . thank you, best to you and I am a new subscriber.
Hello GA
Okra and beans my sister. Thank you for this mega informative video. God bless you from zone 5b.
Barbara, I am new here and thank you for this encouragement. As a brand-new gardener in North Carolina, I sometimes feel like I've missed my opportunity when I see everyone else's gardens thriving. Your reminder that it's not too late renewed my hope. I just started my own 7-day okra challenge on my channel, and after watching your video all the way to the end, I'm excited to get back outside and keep planting. Thank you for teaching with such kindness and making beginners feel like we can do this too! π±π
Try Rattlesnake pole beans! Trust me. The only reason I stopped was because I abandoned pole beans for bush beans which I can cover against pests.
Ha!!! I wrote about Rattlesnake beans before you mentioned them.
Hello I'm here in Southern Mississippi zone 8b. So glad to have you back in my feed. I missed you. Keep up the great work ππ―.
Rentz, GA…Green Beans.
