Tomatoes in the back row, different types of peppers in front, edamame on the far left. I transplanted them 3 weeks ago and they are doing well, but I am worried I am going to have a space issue as they start growing. I think I tried putting too much in. Do I need to panic? Any tips? Thanks!

They’ll start to crowd each other but they’ll be fine. If this were mine I’d put something small or light duty in the gaps on the edge like dill, basil or marigolds

You’re definitely going to want some heavy pruning with the tomatoes that close but they’ll all still probably set fruit. If you wanted to maximize yield I’d shoot for 3-4ft between tomatoes to give them plenty of room to grow but this is totally workable if you go out every few days or so and prune to maintain good airflow.

No, theyll be fine. Just prune so they dont get blight

I use a compact gardening method and place everything in my beds much closer than that. Everything is thriving. Dont stress and if anything. I’d be planting way more in that soil if it was me

You’ll just need lots of water and lots of nutrients and might need to spray for fungus.
