  1. Curious how you & Gary cover the spaces around the access gates on the dog kennels either with the tulle or ¼in wire? Does it affect the movement of the door/gate? Thanks.

  2. I had squirrels taking a bite out of my tomatoes, I googled it, and it said they are thirsty in the hot summer, so I started putting plastic dishes and trays with water and some rocks around my garden on the ground, that seemed to have stopped the tomatoe bitting.

  3. Hey Robbie! It's my first time growing anything and I'm doing it in containers as I live in an apartment. I planted yellow squash and am just waiting for the new flowers to bloom to self pollinate since I don't have any bees around. Unfortunately, it rained last night/this morning and I'm hoping there was enough pollen left in the male flower to polinate 1 of the females but I'm just not sure there was. I also planted bell peppers but I'm thinking they may be diseased as there's black around where the leaves came out of the original stem. It looks like it's part of the plant but I don't remember seeing that when I bought them 3 weeks ago from the store. There's no bugs or eggs on them and they are still growing and look ok other than that. I even have some flowers on them. So, idk. So far the squirrels and birds are staying out of my plants as I feed them sunflower seeds and bird feed on my patio which I have been doing for a couple of years prior to planting anything. If they start messing with my plants I will just put tool up. I've learned so much from your videos so tysm!! Happy gardening everyone!!

I forgot to ask where did you get the hanging planter you have in the dog kennel?? Those could come in very handy for the strawberry plant I also have hanging from a hook.

  4. My squash have tons of big male flowers and a couple tiny female fruits with unopened flowers. Why are they always a pain? 😂

    I love your kennel garden.

  5. It is possible – even with the treated seed where they won't germinate a 2nd year that cloning would work. Tomatoes easily root from parent plants. ? ?

  6. You mentioned summer & winter squash. Have you ever tried Tromboncino squash? Its heirloom, bug & disease resistant. I just love it!

  7. Hello, I've been watching some of your videos and wanted to ask a question. I was looking for 10 gallon plastic containers to grow in and came across a sterilite 10 gallon plastic trash can at Walmart and wanted to know would you use one of them to grow your vegetables in that needed a 5 gallon an above container to grow in.

  8. Hi Robbie and Thank you so much for teaching all of us how to grow our own food!
My garden is thriving this season but my tomatoes though they keep producing non stop started showing yellow and reddish leaves. Other than removing those leaves, anything else I should be doing?
    Thank you!!!

  9. 🙋🏻‍♀️Robbie. Others are mentioning different summer squash varieties. I wonder if you’ve tried or don’t like Patty Pan? I love it as it’s so delicate and mild, and terrific just sautéd in butter and a little water. Much like i fix Choyte squash with only salt, pepper and butter as I prefer its more mild flavor. And do you need to hand pollinate the other varieties in the beginning? I’d never had the need previously but I always grew in the ground. Intriguing.
