Digitalis (foxglove) is actually highly toxic, every part of the plant contains cardiac glycosides that can seriously affect your heart. Even small amounts can cause symptoms like nausea, dizziness, and dangerous heart rhythm disturbances.
It’s beautiful, but definitely not something you want to ingest or handle carelessly.
I battle with them myself in my garden and now only get one or two each year.
