16:30 Adventures With Dale
A great way to spread the joy of gardening, we've taken many of our extra starts and donated to friends, extended family and neighbors 😼
I understand you recently met a neighbor. Michael. He’s my husband’s nephew. I put his mom onto your site a good while back. Amazing how small the world is.😊
What do you do when you have so many veggies like 40 tomatoes or squash? Do you have a small veggie stand or do you give them away or can them?
We have grow bags in the center of our raised beds. The garden is fenced and containers are outside the fence for added space.
Hello from Northeast NJ zone 7b USA ❤
bro has been doing the tomato juice
You have the greenest of thumbs!
Are those Roma tomatoes at 2:13?
I like the long form format for YouTube videos!!😊
🌱👍
I enjoy your channel greatly thanks.
Love your videos! Always great tips ❤
Props to you. I love that when you say "I'll link to such and such above and below" the link or tag is actually there. That uncommon, in my experience.
I have 43 grow bags i been using for few years i rent only way I can have a garden
I love seeing that I don't have to have a neat and tidy plan to garden. I can freebird it and put things where they fit, where they make sense, and now feel very free to make something work out of what I have. It's been a fun couple of months since I found your account. And yes, I love the long-form human content and learning. I am putting social media and dopamine hits behind. They are just full of regret from wasted time, and I've never regretted a single minute spent gardening.
You look like Frankie Edgars cousin. Any relation?
People like shorts because they are designed to dull the attention span down to a nub. Give the mokey a small reward over and over and they will do whatever you want. These folks continue to become a little more stupid each day and don't even know it. Another tool designed to erode society. Cool tips, thanks.
Never, and I repeat NEVER put a raised bed against the side of the house if the soil level is as high or higher than the slab or floor of the house. The hydrostatic pressure of water in the bed will eventual seep into the walls and cause leaks or rot your stud walls. ASK ME HOW I KNOW !!!, (unless you're a renter and your landlord is a dick)
Love Dale snd your garden content
Love the comprehensive videos
❤❤❤❤❤
lol Pee level. I have the same dilemma with my Dexter….. if only he was attracted to the compost pile!!!
I was wondering what that white stuff was on your cucumbers! I thought maybe that was the worst powdery milew I had ever seen
I find containers to be way expensive because of the soil mix. Do you have a secret to keep those costs down? Love your garden and the way you shade it! I never thought to put cattle panels above mine!
Great Video Blessings to you
11:29 Life is like a volunteer tomato plant
Absolutely love your videos, I've learned so much. Thank you 😊
Subscribed! Your content is great!
Do you just let Dale pee on the grow bags? I wanted to try grow bags, but my boxer boy pees on EVERYTHING! That is why I chose taller raised beds.
I only watch your channel (and tell others about it) and James Prigioni. You are very helpful and I am.87 and still digging in the mud.😂❤😊
AI videos are truly annoying
Why do you use treated wood for you raised beds? They chemicals in those boards will leach out into the soil and the plants will absorb them. They are not recommended in our area to be used.
Last year I must have accidenatally lost a Fall decor gourd plant off of my deck . Well it actually seeded and produced a new plant that wrapped on my deck and throughout my front perennial garden. The vine was a little weird looking, out of control, but I harvested more than a dozen large warted gourds off of it for Fall decor! It was great fun discovering the fruits!
I feel you Anthony. Emergency order of grow bags on Monday via your link. Every time I think I have enough…..
Never never large enough lol Always trying new things and experimenting!
My watermelon are not doing well at all. I've fertilized twice on schedule just not gettin it. My cantaloupe finally took off.
What is that tomato plant in the bed by the house?!! I have a Bobcat that looks great with some beautiful fruit but not that many.
I bought the backpack sprayer using your Amazon page. Can't wait to get it. I have too many fruit trees to do it by hand and only 1gal at a time. It's on sale. Lowest price in 30 days!
I have 2 more — we grow in containers in our driveway. We have 2 cars & plenty more space, so 5 gallon buckets & kiddie pool gardens for the win! They are growing lots of stuff very well!
This year we have our potatoes in containers in a spot in our yard that floods. My son threw down some cut off 4×4 posts flat on the ground & put my neighbors fence section that was to the trash, resting on top, to make me an easy platform. We call it our dock. Potato pots went on top of the dock!
1 bit of caution for folks growing up their property line fencing, make sure the neighboring yard doesn't spray stuff along the fence line. I see it all the time!
Thanks for the ideas. I especially like the tomatoes with trees.
