Good afternoon, good afternoon! 👋 Patricia, also known as Granny Greens, is here with an urgent update from our thriving **vegetable gardening** efforts. My **tomato plants** are looking sick, and I need your help to identify the issue. This video shows the current state of my **tomato plant** as I try to understand these potential **plant diseases** and apply some much-needed **plant care**.

They don't look too wet, but make sure your soil isn't soggy (we got 6" of rain last week)
Magnesium – add Epson salts near base of plants and water in well to disolve
Nitrogen – add blood meal or if chemicals must be used I think miracle grow is still safe. You can use a 10-10-10 or 13-13-13 granual fertilizer if you have to. Bloodeal is the fastest remedy. Chicken poop is high in Nitrogen but don't put against the plant or add too much as it can burn the plant, also it should be composted/aged first. Composted leaves works slowly over time to build soil.
Potassium – Potash is added. You can use ash from a wood /leaf fireplace/pit
Also always use the crumbs/dust from charcoal bags and unburned bits from bbq/firepit as it adds bio-char and carbon
Calcium – just add crushed egg shells from the kitchen or youcan buy crushed oyster shell in the garden section
They make the little 3-stick analog soil testers that Walmart, Lowes, Ace hardware carry for about $12-$20 that will tell you PH, light, moisture and fertility levels
