I have a lot of clover, I think violets, a few dandelions, moss, and some kind of grass.
I'm curious if someone could tell me what the broad leaf plants are in the one picture and what kind of violets they are if they are indeed violets in the other.
The moss is mostly dying, leaving fairly large bald spots in the back yard since my neighbor cut down about 20 pines a few years ago. Am hoping to replace with more clover, and violets, seen people here recommend self heal too. If like to get some other colors in too.

The pictures are close ups of 2 different plants growing in my yard that I would like help identifying.
It looks like a bunch of common blue violet and some mock strawberry.
Picture one looks like one of the annual violet species, and in picture two I see both Mock Strawberry, and an infestation of English ivy.
