Garden extras can add an extra special charm and personalization to your yard but if you’re spending money on extras first, it can leave your yard feeling underwhelming and scattered. Hope this video helps!

I’ve created a free Flower Bed Clarity Guide to help you understand why some flower beds feel calm, intentional, and beautiful — while others feel random, cluttered, or difficult to maintain. Feel free to download it here: https://gardeneducation.guru/

  1. I follow you so far about a week like I follow many garden channels and many for years on end…this channel basically is very negative…watch your own videos…its hard to inspire when you ridicule and 'correct' most people would have a difficult time relating to your message.

  2. My yard vs my neighbors yard. I'm uncertain why they don't plant things the plants/ shrubs into the ground. 😢💚

  3. Not everyone's ground is soft enough to plant in the ground. I have hard rocky soil in some areas and hard red clay in others. Container gardening is best. You need to take into consideration what type of soil you have along with if you have pets, you need to be careful not to plant toxic plants.

  4. You are absolutely right. There should really only be 1 or 2 focal points of decoration in a yard. Otherwise, it just becomes a hoarder's paradise with too much crap scattered here or there and everywhere. I have a fountain in one area in my property and a gazing ball in the other, and there isn't a single gnome, or Dollar store decoration anywhere to be found. I let my garden speak for itself.
