Things were looking so good in the elderberry patch.

  1. Buy pkgs of wild flowers from the dollar stores & just throw them everywhere in & around these bushes & see if they grow.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ‘

  2. I feel so badly for your deere problems โค I've had similar problems over the years and I know it's heartbreaking ๐Ÿ’”

  3. Well we know the deer are eating a good diet! Maybe this winter you can take up hunting? Get a return on all your hard work in lean meat. You can add beef fat to the ground venison. Make jerky, can it up! Thereโ€™s a great place toward cookeville that processes them. Seriously. You could just use one of those chairs out front as your deer stand๐Ÿคฃ๐ŸฆŒ๐ŸฆŒ๐ŸฆŒitโ€™s laugh or we have to cry๐Ÿ˜ช

  4. We still have bees.
But we also have bee keepers all around us. Might wanna look into getting a couple of your own hives.

  5. I too bag the flower heads that have the small green berry forming. The flowers you do have left on the elderberry plants can be picked and dehydrated. Elderberry flower tea has many great benefits and maybe even more than the elderberry!

  6. It's a tough decision to leave all the dandelions while blooming… but those are the earliest flowers that show up in my yard. I need more early blooming flowers… for next year. I don't have deer, as I am in the city… but still not that many blooms this year.

  7. Have you tried putting human hair all around the area? (Get it at hair salons for free) Has kept them out of our garden.
