SEDGWICK COUNTY, Kan. (KWCH) – It’s a chance to see some of the most unique gardens around Sedgwick County. The Sedgwick County Master Gardeners is hosting the annual garden tour.
For $10, you can tour six gardens across the county. The tour highlights practical and creative approaches to gardening.
A selection committee chose the six gardens. Master gardener Gail Knott said they looked for gardens that are unique and feature plants that can be grown in Kansas. “We’re looking for something that is unique, people that are growing things that we can grow here in Kansas and something that we think the residents of Sedgwick County and other areas around here would enjoy seeing,” Knott said.
The tour is open again Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. Contact the Sedgwick County Extension Education Center for more information.
