Naughty by Nature has been announced as the dedicated private retreat experience by Consensuality, a South African brand focused on intimacy, connection, and guided relationship experiences for couples.
Located in Wilderness on South Africa’s Garden Route, the retreat is designed for one couple at a time and is led personally by Consensuality founder Carol Momberg. Couples can contact Consensuality directly or begin the private retreat inquiry process.
Naughty by Nature is based at an adults-only luxury cabin on a macadamia nut farm, offering a private setting for couples who want to reconnect away from daily routine, outside pressure, and shared retreat environments.
A Private Retreat Model
Naughty by Nature has been developed for couples who want a more intentional form of reconnection than a conventional vacation can usually provide.
The retreat combines private accommodation with guided intimacy work, emotional reconnection, sensory experiences, and structured relationship exercises. The format is designed to create space for couples to communicate more openly, reconnect physically and emotionally, and spend uninterrupted time together in a confidential environment.
“Many couples are not looking for crisis intervention. They are looking for space, privacy, and guidance to reconnect before distance becomes the norm,” says Carol Momberg, founder of Consensuality. “Naughty by Nature was created for couples who want to step away from routine and give proper attention to their relationship.”
Two Retreat Options
Consensuality currently offers two retreat formats at Naughty by Nature.
The Reconnection Retreat is a three-night long weekend experience designed as an introduction to the retreat process. It includes private accommodation, guided sessions with Carol, Consensuality workbooks and rituals, sensory elements, and selected hospitality experiences.
The Immersion Retreat is a longer five-to-seven-night experience for couples wanting a deeper process. It includes the elements of the Reconnection Retreat, with additional guided emotional and erotic exploration, relational coaching, bodywork, ceremony, private dining, and other curated experiences.
Both retreats are available by inquiry only. Dates are arranged privately, and each inquiry begins with a confidential conversation to ensure that the experience is appropriate for the couple.
Led Personally by Carol Momberg
Carol leads every Consensuality retreat personally. Her work combines intimacy coaching, relationship facilitation, communication frameworks, somatic awareness, and guided experiential work.
The retreat may also include support from a small group of specialists, depending on the selected format. These can include a private chef, boudoir photographer, and energy or bodywork practitioner.
“When couples arrive, they often know they want something to change, but they do not always have the language for it,” says Momberg. “The role of the retreat is to create a safe, private structure where they can begin to meet each other differently.”
Wilderness as the Setting
The retreat’s location in Wilderness forms an important part of the experience. The Garden Route setting offers mountains, lakes, forests, beaches, and quiet natural surroundings, giving couples space to slow down and step outside the patterns of everyday life.
Naughty by Nature is situated on a macadamia nut farm with views of the surrounding landscape and access to nearby natural spaces. The location was chosen to support privacy, restoration, and a sense of distance from ordinary routine while remaining accessible for both South African and international guests.
