LIBERTY LAKE, Wash. — A new rock garden donated by the Liberty Lake Better Together Foundation was dedicated this afternoon at the northeast corner of Pavillion Park.
The city said the public dedication, with the Selkirk Middle School band performing, highlighted the new garden and gave people a first look at a goat sculpture tied to the project.
If the sculpture seemed to disappear after the event, the city said there was a reason. The goat needed to go back to the shop for a few more days of finishing work.
The city said the sculpture is expected to return for permanent installation at the site next week.
