The annual Corpus Christi Procession will be held after the coming Saturday evening’s 6:15pm Mass.
This year the event, which has taken in all areas of the town over the years, will take place in the Presentation Sisters’ or Nuns’ Garden.
Participants of all ages and from all areas of the parish and beyond are invited to take part in the annual outpouring of faith.
“We particularly encourage First Holy Communion children and their parents to participate.
The Latin ‘Corpus Christi’ translates to ‘Body of Christ’ and the procession is a public declaration of our belief in the Blessed Sacrament,” according to a statement from Castleisland parish office.
