John Terry and Hilary Nason will open the gates of their beautiful seaside cottage garden, Seanabea Cottage, Ballyshane, Cloyne, Co Cork (P25 E658), on Sunday, June 14, from 2pm to 6pm. Situated near Ballybrannigan Strand and overlooking the coast, this charming garden is a member of the RHSI Partner Gardens scheme and offers visitors an opportunity to explore a mature and thoughtfully planted garden in a stunning seaside setting.

Admission is by donation, with all proceeds going to two worthy causes: Marymount University Hospital & Hospice, Cork, and Brighter Communities Worldwide. 

Brighter Communities Worldwide is an Irish charity working to improve health, education and sustainable livelihoods in partnership with communities in Kenya.

The afternoon promises to be an enjoyable outing for all ages. Families are especially welcome, and visitors can enjoy live music while exploring the garden.

There will also be a selection of interesting plants for sale from Sandy McCarthy, along with an opportunity to sample Terry’s locally produced honey.
