Hi π πββοΈ
Too to see you have tree shade to chat with us. I remember flat unforgiving sun and a gator with no top π₯΅!
Nice t-shirt Benjamin! π§βπΎπ±
The boxwoods hedge looks good already!
Question off topicβ¦.I purchased the Galloway Urn this year, and I want to do something similar to you guys in my garden. Do you know the diameter of the gravel/brick circle it sits in? And yes, I wish I could plant that many boxwoods this weekend! π
Love the boxwoods and can't wait to see how all the plants by the house look in a few weeks. I haven't seen you plant the proven winners truffula pink gomphrena in quite some time, or maybe I missed it. You are the reason I started planting those and they are one of my favorites now that I make sure to plant every year. I was reminded that I haven't seen them in your garden lately, because they would look so nice mixed in the plants you did today by the house.
Oh I know I know about the sunflower volunteer, LOL.
I think this is a bit over the top.
What a project. My knees were screaming just watching you. Loved the planting along that pathway. The urns along the walk way really defined that area and now with the planting clearly bordering the pathβ¦..simply devine. Just perfect!
LOVE the structure the boxwoods provide!!!! What a dazzling gardenβ€β€β€
You are both amazing! It is such a privilege watching you transform your gardens. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your journey.

Wow, what a project and a beautiful transformation. When I read the title 85 boxwoods I thought wait that has to be a typo π silly me . Great reward a sweet treat afterwards way to go Aaron and Laura!
Please link the chicken recipie π΄

Why do you need a walkway there? People can walk two more feet and use the establish walk. Put a beautiful lawn sculpture. I went to Brookgreen Gardens in Murrells Inlet, SC state park which had a mansion and formal garden with various lawn and pond sculptures. It was magnificent. Take time to look up and get some ideas. I think you would like it.
It's not a stick. It's a Go-No Go gage.
"Oh, those alliums covered in bumblebees look absolutely magical right now! π Pushing the boxwoods back just enough so they don't eat into the lawn is a brilliant move. It's so smart to just put temporary annuals by the Hartley pathway while you figure out where the kitchen renovation lands. Removing that overhanging dogwood by the driveway really opened up the space too. Beautiful update! β€π±"

Been watching your channel for awhile now, love your property and your family π
I have a questionβ¦do you get ticks where you are and if so, do you use anything to control them on your property? Also do you have deer? Unfortunately we do and they feast on a lot of my plants so I have to look for things they arenβt interested in π. I love planting hostas but theyβd like a gourmet buffet for them ππ€¦π»ββοΈ
The boxwoods already look amazing. GA Teamwork gets 'er done! I like your planting up the area from the back of the Hartley and the walkway from the house and then behind that. I think direct seed planting is a great idea! It will show everyone that gardeners don't have to buy plants or start them early. Direct seeding is fun to watch the plants emerge and how quickly they grow. PLUS it's WAY CHEAPER! Laura, did you enjoy the PiΓ±a Colada popsicle? There's lots of recipes online. My sister, Jan, and I like to try out new cocktails or make it up as we go.
I love how the editing coincided with the train horn.
Your videos are food for the soul in a crazy world, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your phenomenal passion project and lovely family with me π₯°
Love all the videos but I'm struggling with the picture quality of the last few. Not sure if it's my TV or the videos. Anyone else?
I only have 2 small Boxwoods in Urns in my backyard. They are so easy to grow! Want more! Beautiful garden. Thanks for sharing πππ²πΏ
JOY ~ JOY ~ JOY~ WHILE I ENJOY ALL THE VIDEOS —- THIS ONE BRINGS PURE JOY ~ JOY ~ JOY TO MY HEART! SO PRETTY! QUESTION ON THE 2 LINES OF DROP – HOW LONG WILL YOU 'BABY' THESE BOXWOOD WITH EXTRA WATER B4 PULLING TO A SINGLE LINE OF DRIP? ππππππππππππππππππππππππ
Thanks Erin for helping Laura
" if you know, you know." π A gardener scorned, can hold a grudge!
Wow, you two knocked it out of the park. I can't even imagine how Aarons shoulders feel after thay job. I did six this past weekend and i was done after that. Excellent job. Ordered the new t-shirt. Can't wait to get it.
It is looking incredible!
Oh it all looks so darn fantastic! Love, love, love it!πππ
Lol, I know π»
Would you consider Yeu? I know the berrys are poisonous but i think you can buy males. Is that true? I cant find good information.
Oh my gosh I absolutely love that area between the Hartley and the house. It looks so good with all the new plants, soon it will be amazing. And the boxwoods lining the South garden and the fence and the Urns . . .well, it is glorious! I canβt get over how hard scape can really change a look in the garden and you do it so well. Today was great nd canβt wait for your next project! πΊπΈπΎ
You are both simply troopers, great job. Looks perfect.
π€£If you know you know! (sunflowers)
Laura, those alliumβs are gorgeous! What kind are those? π
That has made me want a boxwood hedge by my side porch!!! Using an antique birdbath for center entrance. I would love to have that chicken recipeβ¦.. sounds incredibly delicious ???????
No no no those green giants will take over that whole area those are way too big to go there. I think you should put something that grows in a cone naturally so it's less work.
If you decided against the Green Giant arborvitaeβs next to the concrete fence, do two huge hydrangeas, like Quick Fire or Firelight, that would have size and give you the winter interest you were talking about!
Oh my I absolutely love those giant alliums. I have planted several different varieties of alliums but they never bloom. I water once a week and I am in East Texas with beach sand and I only get the foliage. Do you think with sand that they need more water?
ha!! if you know… you know..
so glad Aaron found it in himself to HELP today…….beautiful garden Laura…….love how you are creating and re-creating.
What a tough job . Very Good πͺ΄ππ²π²π²
4:24 don't we have some squarish cement planters that can go by the cement fence?
15:31 I wanna see this grass patch ringed with the bubblegum super tunias
Love the sunflowers and grasses and the plants along the walkway!
A faux brick path made out of ground covers leading up to the concrete fence from the gravel would be so charming
Ilove it , I love it, I love it ! Boxwoods make a huge difference.
The rows of boxwoods look so good! I got the sunflowers and Aaron comment π€
I feel like that whole area behind the βfenceβ is screaming to be turned into a English cottage garden of some sort. With a bird bath and a cute little bench. It almost feels like you are walking past the fence looking into someoneβs secret little garden
I am a homebound, handicapped Senior who loves to garden, and your channel brings me such immense joy. You share all of your goodness, knowledge, and wonderful family with us and I am so very grateful to you. β€
Those boxwoods look marvelous! What a great decision to put those there. Curious… why were some in PW containers and some in the New Gen containers? Also, at 6:10, did I hear a rooster in the background?
