Have you ever planted something in a container that completely took over and terrorized everything around it?

Howard is a container god.
45:51 I’m rethinking a lot of my life choices now.
My big trick for the container, is when I want to lighten up the big pot in order to save soil, I actually use packing peanuts tied in plastic bags…place them into the pot upside down (so the tie is on the bottom). I suppose the black pots you mentioned could also be put into the plastic bags, thereby reducing the amount of air and soil settlement in the pot…love your podcast btw…learning so, so much…even though I’ve been a master gardener for 15yrs, and gardening for 20….❤❤❤
I once planted a purple fountain grass in a thick cement planter, and at the end of the season, the pot was cracked and my big burly husband couldn’t even get the root ball out.
