Taking a closer look at my shade garden nook, today’s backyard gardening update is part garden tour and part garden transformation as I show what has been growing, changing, and developing throughout my personal garden. This zone 5 gardening project has been built step by step, and it’s always exciting to see how the shade-loving plants, cottage garden features, and woodland-inspired areas are starting to come together. I’ll also share some of the other garden updates happening around the yard and where future planting plans may be headed.

LIZ! The nook is soooo cool. I know you have been working on this for quite some time. The fence was the base of it all and since then you have be able to build it up. The tub though is just tool cool. What is the name of the miniature rose plant? Great tour Liz!
