Care home residents in Fareham marked World Bee Day with a special visit to a garden centre.
Florence Court Care Home took a trip to Garsons Garden Centre as part of a day of celebrating bees and their importance to the environment.
During the visit, residents explored colourful flower displays, bee-friendly plants and gardening exhibits designed to support pollinators.

Sarah Lewis, general manager at Florence Court, said: “World Bee Day is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate nature and encourage conversations about sustainability and wellbeing.
“Our residents had a fantastic afternoon at the garden centre.
“It was lovely to see them enjoying the flowers and learning more about protecting the bees.”
Garden centre staff shared advice on how small changes in outdoor spaces can help protect bee populations.
Residents spent time browsing the displays, enjoying refreshments, and reminiscing about their own gardens and the vital role bees play in growing flowers, fruit and vegetables.
