ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – On Thursday, 9 Mile Garden announced a ban on all sports equipment from its property, effective immediately.
In a post on Instagram, 9 Mile Garden stated that safety issues from attendees playing sports on the property have been an ongoing issue, resulting in spilled drinks, items getting destroyed, and injuries.
The event space noted that they have tried different ways to mitigate the issue of flying soccer balls, volleyballs and other sports equipment, but there is not enough space to separate the various activities.
The space mentioned that they are planning for their summer events and are focusing on “other family friendly games for the Garden.”
