A special Father’s Day celebration is set to go ahead as a village hosts its annual open garden charity event.
Visitors to Wereham will be able to take a stroll around the area on Sunday, June 21 to enjoy displays and pick up lots of gardening tips.
Organised by an enthusiastic group of green-thumbed individuals, the event will be raising money for St Margaret’s Church to ensure it can remain open for everyone for years to come.

From 12pm until 5pm, afternoon tea will be available from the village hall, as well as a plant and craft sale, a raffle and a tombola.
Following on from its success last year, a Pimm’s tent will also be set up at Tudor Lodge at the top of Church Road.
Tickets cost £6 for adults, and children go free.
There will also be a special draw at the end of the day for one lucky father to win a gardening prize.
