“Snow in May?! My Garden Plans Just Got Delayed…”

Mid‑May brought an unexpected blast of freezing temperatures and fresh snowfall, turning the landscape into a winter scene just when gardening season was supposed to begin. It looks beautiful, but the cold snap is tough on outdoor plants here in Saskatchewan.

I had planned to move my seedlings outside this week, but now I’ll have to wait a little longer. Thankfully, my indoor garden is thriving. The seedlings are growing strong with healthy true leaves—including cucumber, tomato, lettuce, green onion, and even well‑rooted pothos cuttings.

If you’re dealing with late frost, cold snaps, or delayed planting season, this video shows how I’m keeping my plants healthy indoors until the weather stabilizes.

I’m sharing my experiences of living in Canada 🇨🇦 🍁, and I warmly invite you to join me and explore it all through these videos.
