So i did a nutrient change this morning and checked my parameters for the first time in two months.

So i tried to suck the container dry, less than 5 gals removed till the pump started sucking air. I added back about 5 gals with an ec of 1.6 and ph of 6.2.
I was surprise how easy the carrot slipped out of the custom screen. The carrots looking like its finally turning orange.
Was able to slip it back down inside to keep growing. Some of the shoulders that are exposed are really starting to get big.

What level do you keep the water at below, is the root partially submerged in water? I’m becoming really interested in trying this with sugar beet, have you ever tried it?
