  1. Kaye, hello, getting dinner sorted whilst watching you,so 😮 to be able to catch up.my im loveing your content. Kaye, in case I forget your. sunflower s, and shasta daisies, plants like those will droop their leaves in the heat to conserve energy . Its marvellous that one evening cooler comes. They perk up again..its marvellous isn't it, its easy to over water if we didn't know. Im loveling your busy dragon fly. 😅😅😊 beautiful gardens. Birds lovely. Do rest up some Kaye. Love you hugs and blessings xx😊😊

  2. Just fyi. I just found out not to plant sunflowers near certain vegetables peas for sure. Google it to get the scoop

  3. Afternoon !!! You have a busy garden ! I made down to my garden after your live. 4 — 50 rows of pink eyed pea's washed out. Good germination though. Spent an hour recovering them. Maybe it'll save them. I was just getting started when all this rain come in. A break in the rain now. Might do some transplants in my containers. There's a fellow that owns a 300 acre cattle ranch to the north , east & south around me. He brought 10 mineral tubs the other day, 25 gallons. Being sick last month & now the rain , I'm seriously behind ! Hope you have a good afternoon ! 😅

  4. Spiny Amaranth is the worst! I've had it in my then TN garden when we lived on 6 acres near Lake Tansi years ago. Ick. Otherwise your garden looks wonderful Kaye! Hoe with sharp hoe blade for that Spiny Amaranth, yes before the seeds broadcast. I hate the stuff as it hurts to handle it.

  5. Hello Kaye. Was looking back about 13 years ago when i watched your video in Cali. About Mexican sunflowers, Thithonia. I started growing them the year after that and I've had them ever since. I only planted them one time. I just wanted to say thank you, a bit late. I love watching you❤

  6. You mentioned having alot of nasturtium seeds and deer recently. I live in rural Middle TN south of you. I don't garden but as I wrote to you before I do container gardening on my porches thanks to your inspiration. I have deer pass through my big back yard. I love it. I have seriously low back arthritis so everything I do is from my back porch including taking my small companion doggie potty. Athena had an up close and too personal with a doe two years ago next to our porch. That was scary. Anyway, I love nasturiums. I have three large pots on my porch and they are starting to bloom. I enjoy them from my kitchen sink window. My porches have railings but I don't think the deer will bother anything planted especially in pots right next to your home. Deer are very skittish and always on hyper alert anyway. The doe only took on my little dog on the ground near our porch was because my Athena, a dachshund mix had gone into "dog protective mode". The doe was perfectly calm and I didn't want anyone to get hurt. Otherwise the deer never come anywhere near my porches.
