Brilliant beer garden
The Three Crowns has what its owners say is Bushey’s biggest beer garden – perfect for the summer months.
Co-owner Bobbi Prowse said: “There’s nothing I love more than seeing the garden busy in the summer. We are blessed to have a beautiful big garden and seeing it full of people enjoying themselves is just the best feeling.”

One reviewer on Tripadvisor wrote: “This little local pub is a lovely sanctuary after a long day! It’s our local and having been in and out over the years, it just gets better and better. The recent refurbed dining area and large outdoor garden is fantastic.”

Meet the couple at the helm

Since November 2023, the pub has been under the stewardship of married couple Kris and Bobbi Prowse, who met at the pub.
Both are former staff at The Three Crowns, with Kris having joined at the age of 15, starting by washing pots and working his way up to eventually become head chef.
In an interview earlier this year, Bobbi said: “Things are going well. Look, I don’t think anybody is under the illusion that this is the best time for hospitality and this time of year is always tough, but summer is always great and we have just had a brilliant Christmas.”
Asked why people should visit the pub, Bobbi said: “Our ethos has always been that we want to be a family-friendly local pub that does good quality home-cooked food.”
The 34-year-old has described herself as a “serial optimist”.
