Generally speaking, mushrooms are a sign of healthy soil. They can also be from overwatering.

Lol. i just had a mushroom’s pop up a 5 inch cluster in my raised bed. it’s my second year of using the mel’s mix soil method it put a smile knowing it’s healthy soil. first year went straight compost and the vegies were ok, but dry, reasons i say dry is it didn’t hold the water. my celery grew very slow, and it was dry inside . not juicy like the kind your buy in a store, so my thinking is the soil just didn’t hold enough water for the celery, it’ would wilt during the growing season, guess it’s a learning experience with gardening for me. seems i need to water more than I do. with the raised beds (30 inch tall ones)
PS just sharing , did not want to start a topic myself.
