There’s nothing quite like sitting in a relaxed beer garden soaking up the British sunshine.

Thankfully in Surrey, there are lots of lovely spots for enjoying a pint, a G&T or a chilled glass of wine under blue skies.

With the long bank holiday weekend expected to be warm and sunny, we’ve made a list of 16 venues perfect for tucking into refreshing drinks and delicious food.

Part of the Premium Country Pubs collection, these family and dog-friendly sites all have excellent outdoor spaces may it be gorgeous gardens, quaint courtyards or trendy terraces.

To celebrate the upcoming May Bank Holiday, Premium Country Pubs has launched its new summer inspired cocktail collection at all 16 Surrey locations.

Inspired by longer, lighter days and the social spirit of British summer, the range showcases a mix of bright, fresh fruit and reimagined classics, each created to suit relaxed, everyday occasions.

New signature cocktails include, the fiery kick of a Spicy Margarita, a refreshing Bijou Spritz – a modern alternative to the Aperol favourite – and a delicious Disaronno Bakewell Sour.

There’s also a tropical Banana Jungle Bird, a refreshing Strawberry Daiquiri, a timeless Negroni and a Pink Clover Club.

Alongside the tipples, there is a new menu of seasonal dishes including pan-roasted salmon served with juicy balsamic tomatoes, crispy capers, harissa lemon butter, green beans and soft pearl potatoes.

Rebecca Lee, marketing manager at Premium Country Pubs collection, said: “Summer is about creating moments people want to come back for – whether that’s a relaxed evening drink or getting friends together over a bank holiday weekend.

“We’ve focused on seasonal flavours, easy-going drinks and experiences that feel welcoming and unhurried, and we’re looking forward to sharing more as we welcome summer.”
