Primary school children have been gifted gardening equipment to help inspire a love of the outdoors.
David Wilson Homes donated 10 gardening sets to pupils at Edenham CE Primary School, in School Lane to encourage hands-on learning and outdoor activities.
The donation was made as part of National Gardening Week, with each set including a watering can, hand fork, trowel and gardening gloves.

Headteacher Michael Pasqualino said: “It is great that David Wilson Homes recognises the importance of giving children the opportunity to learn about and care for our green spaces.
“We are very grateful for the donated resources that will help us do this.”
It is hoped the equipment will help pupil learn how to grow plants, understand where food comes from, develop practical skills and enjoy the physical and mental wellbeing benefits of spending time outside.
