I leave what I can in our yard. I think the previous tenants planted it as cover crop before, but it does grow wild on the side of the road this year, and I've never noticed that before, so I don't know if it's just spreading or what. God bless!!!!
If you leave it until fall, will it continue to help the soil in case you decide to plant something next year? You know me – I'd be worried about snakes/ticks if cats get in there. Such are the dilemma of gardening…

Any future plans for that hairy vetch side garden? The flowers can be made into a tea. Fun to try and let us know what you think of it π
