Yummy.
Conner is very knowledgeable, we love mulberries!!
I don't like the everbearing mulberry tree cuz the fruits are small and actually a lot of them don't produce I have five trees and only one has produced fruit abundantly and with a decent size fruit. The other trees which are like 7-8 ft and are not producing They are going to be chopped down. There's a trick to the Pakistani variety to force it to fruit and that's removing all the big leaves. Usually the new leaves come with fruit
Dude knows his stuff when it comes to mulberries awesome video
I see all these lovely fruits you have, and can only think of exotic ciders, wines, or spirits. So many flavours that still have not been explored.
Agristarts seems to like to rename things a lot.
Is Thai dwarf the same as "World's Best"?
My skinner grafts all died in this freeze. I would say plant it with caution in colder areas of the state.
Dwarf everbearing has great flavor though compared to many others I grow. Knocks Oscar and World's Best out of the water.
No website, no phone number no address for this nursery. Great job.
I have both a Pakistan and a shag grala mulberry.
My question is can I graft a Pakistan onto my shag gra la, than use the branch as a cutting to avoid hematode.
Couldn't have come at a more perfect time! I have a Maui Mulberry and was looking for something different. I really liked your questions Paul about growth habit and leaves bigger or smaller. I will be using mine for privacy (we are in the suburbs) but I also wanted to know more about taste. I'll definitely be ordering a tree. I hope they are at Mango Fest!
I will definitely be planting a mulberry tree after viewing this video. Thanks Paul for all you do concerning fruit trees..
Great video!
I seen the short from this video early this morning and commented we needed a long version! 🤣👍
My everbearing mulberries are the best. Best tasting berries I've ever had and they take zero maintenance and fruit a good portion of the year here in Martin County
STOP saying bush😂😂. These dam sure aren't bushes.. I found that out the hard way.
I didn’t hear his answer ton the question if he liked the red Himalayan over the black Pakistani.
Paul is promoting everything now,l'll pass on the mulberry,it's a waste of space for such tiny fruits
Great video. Thanks
We love ours, so delicious!!! Great video 👍
Recently reduced my dwarf everbearing down 25% overall mostly off the top and general trimming. Experimenting with training the major branches more angled then upright, not sure if it will be maintainable but will see how it goes over time. New berries showing up about 2 weeks after, new growth is almost immediate and picks up speed FAST. First year ill be keeping track of how many times i can do this though. Its nice having a tree kids can constantly pick from while other fruit is in progress or going in and out of season.
We had a mulberry as a child my siblings and I, and we did sing that! 😂 ❤ My mom would be angry at us for eating them straight without washing them even though she told us about the bugs we didn't realize. With purple faces and hands we would deny it to the end 😂 Northern Kentucky.
Oh and so some people make tea from the leaves 😊💚
Is there a sweet tasting mulberry that can survive St Augustine winters? We had a really cold winter with some days in the 20’s.
It"s refreshing to watch others out 'touching grass' when I'm not, at the moment. Studio vegans in suits wearing hats and things pushing supplements makes me laugh a bit. 🤣🌞🌱🦋✌🏿
Looks like he does not ship to areas as close as Orlando, what a shame… 🤦🏽
Great video
A plus video. I love the interviewers questions and Conner's responses because if he doesn't know, he says so. I just visited their website and requested Dwarf Thai mulberry. Hopefully they are not sold out.
Isn't worlds best the same as thai mulberry?
Disappointed here. I don’t see any mulberries ( or anything for that matter ) that ships to South Georgia. Aren’t there any Thai mulberries that ship beyond South Florida?
I bought two mulberry trees from you about a year ago after your worker made us try them (he’s the big guy). We bought Thai Dwarf and Illinois Everbearing. We also bought the Skinner from Xain’s maybe 2 months ago.
Hey Paul does the fruit from a pouteria caimito abiu tree taste like cream soda? I bookmarked his website so I can check if he has what I'm looking for, I'd like to have some scions budwood of the Red Himalayan mulberry to graft to my big mulberry tree or to some air layers from it, I think it is dying , it is over 60 years old it was here when we moved here when I was 4, the fruit on it this year are small and dry. Thanks Paul
